Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight is arguably the best Batman movie ever made, so it’s good news that it’s back on Netflix this month, along with Batman Begins, the film that kicked off this critically-acclaimed trilogy. And once you’ve reached the credits of Nolan’s second outing with the Caped Crusader, you’ll undoubtedly want to jump to the trilogy-closer, The Dark Knight Rises, which puts Batman back in the crosshairs of Ra’s al Ghul’s League of Shadows, this time led by the seemingly invincible Bane (played with relish by Tom Hardy).
The good news is that, despite what some might say, The Dark Knight Rises is absolutely worth a watch, even if it doesn’t quite reach the heights of its predecessor. Just as The Dark Knight took its story from the pages of Batman: Year One and The Long Halloween, Rises is heavily influenced by three other pivotal comics: Frank Miller’s character-defining The Dark Knight Returns as well as two massive storylines from the ’90s, “Knightfall” and “No Man’s Land.” Christopher and Jonathan Nolan use elements of each to tell a multi-layered story that perhaps may be a little too ambitious for its own good but is no less enjoyable to watch (obvious faults in logic aside).
This twisting conclusion to The Dark Knight Trilogy is pivotal to understanding how the events of the second movie have changed Bruce and Gotham City as well as what Batman’s legacy truly means when it grows beyond just one man.
If you’ve gone searching for The Dark Knight Rises right after the final scene of The Dark Knight, you’re headed in the right direction. But here we get to the bad news: The Dark Knight Rises isn’t on Netflix, an odd omission considering the streamer has just added the first two movies this month. So where can you go to watch the third one?

SINOPSIS
Una joven aficionada a la ufología visita los restos de la reserva militar en la que supuestamente tuvo lugar uno de los episodios de contacto con extraterrestres más extraordinarios de la historia. El guarda forestal tendrá que acompañarla, bosque a través, hasta el cuartel militar abandonado, pero la repentina irrupción de una criatura que habita en las profundidades del bosque, evocará a los jóvenes a un macabro juego del gato y el ratón que los llevará hasta las entrañas del infierno.

After the Lethargy celebró su estreno mundial en mayo de 2018, en Fantaspoa (Porto Alegre, Brasil). Luego inició su andadura por el circuito internacional de festivales de cine fantástico y de terror, donde ha sido reconocida con más de veinte nominaciones y diez premios internacionales, entre ellos el premio a la mejor película de ciencia ficción en el New York City Horror Film Festival, uno de los festivales del género más importantes del mundo.
La película entró a distribución el 16 de agosto de 2019, con su estreno en salas comerciales y plataformas de Estados Unidos, de la mano de Vertical Entertainment (Grupo Lionsgate), bajo el título de Alien Invasion. Asimismo, y por otro lado, tiene cerrada distribución comercial en diversos países, repartidos a lo largo y ancho de los cinco continentes.
La representación internacional del film corre a cargo de la prestigiosa agencia de ventas Devilworks.

UK genre specialist Devilworks has scored multiple deals on Marc Carreté’s alien encounter horror «After the Lethargy».
US-based Vertical Entertainment has picked up the film for a theatrical release in North America from August 16 under the alternative title of Alien Invasion.

After making his debut with Spanish language exorcist picture Asmodexia director Marc Carrete will shift into English for his second film – an alien monster movie titled After The Lethargy.
Presented as part of the Coming Soon program at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, Carrete has already shot a proof of concept for the film prior to the spring 2017 start of proincipal photography and that clip is now available online
