Es muy común para los hablantes del español cometer el siguiente error: Cuando queremos decir que salimos de un sitio (por ejemplo, de la casa), algunas veces intentamos usar el verbo GO: (Aprende más sobre: el verbo GO en inglés)
- I go out of my house at 8 am (Incorrecto)
Si traducimos literalmente la oración anterior, tiene sentido porque pensamos que la traducción es «Salgo de mi casa a las 8 am». Sin embargo, como te lo comenté anteriormente, esto no es correcto en inglés. En inglés para decir «Salir, Marcharse o Dejar un sitio» usamos el verbo Leave. En consecuencia, la forma correcta es:
- I leave home at 8 am.
