Experimental translator «Spanish – Zapoteco del isthmus»

The Spanish experimental translation system – Isthmus Zapotec only works with Isthmus Zapotec, other variants of Zapotec may not be interpreted in the same way and therefore the translations of this system may not make sense for these variants.
Currently the system has about 4500 tuples in Spanish and Zapotec, which are obtained from books by Zapotec writers and poets, who take care of the language.
This automatic translator is a mathematical approach to the grammatical analysis of the Zapotec rules of the isthmus (Juchitán and surroundings); And since Zapotec is a language rich in grammar, it should be taken into account that there are rules that are difficult to interpret and generate mathematically, so this system may have translation errors, derived from the inconsistency of the lexicon, spelling, or the lack of grammatical rules to describe writing, for which we ask for your support to understand this situation, which we try to improve every day to have better translations, using the fastest machine translation techniques and adapting them to Zapotec, without leaving aside from the autonomy of the language, the extraction of grammar rules, the updating of existing rules and the continuous learning of it.

El joven de origen juchiteco Santiago Martínez creó Didxazapp, una app que permite traducir frases del español al zapoteco del Istmo. Esta innovadora aplicación ya está disponible y ha rebasado fronteras al extender su uso a 26 países más.
Didxazapp y la necesidad de preservar el lenguaje
Este proyecto surgió hace seis años aproximadamente de la necesidad de Santiago Martínez, estudiante de ingeniería en software en la Universidad Politécnica de Tecamac, por preservar sus raíces.
“Ya no me sale bien hablar zapoteco. Esa fue una de las motivaciones para hacer algo por mi lengua”, comentó Santiago Martínez sobre este noble proyecto.
La aplicación ha llegado a distintos países que no son de habla hispana por ello continúa mejorándose para así poder traducir a zapoteco contenido en inglés, francés, italiano y el resto de idiomas disponibles en el traductor de Google.
Las lenguas zapotecas pertenecen a la familia lingüística Oto-mangue y se hablan principalmente en los estados de Veracruz y Oaxaca. La variante del zapoteco que utiliza la Didxazapp es el zapoteco del Istmo de Tehuantepec.
El zapoteco al alcance de todos
Esta app es gratuita para dispositivos con sistema operativo Android y Windows. Otro enorme beneficio de la aplicación es que su creador ha dejado el código abierto para que con ello cualquier desarrollador pueda utilizarlo en sus propias aplicaciones.
Didxazapp es sorprendente, pues maneja un algoritmo bastante complejo para lograr traducir al zapoteco una legua tan distinta en su gramática al español. Cabe resaltar que esta app traduce frases completas, lo cual es un gran logro para la programación mexicana.
